Went to Javier's at the Irvine Spectrum yesterday for lunch and found a flyer there advertising a Javier's Getaway to the Cabo Azul Resort & Spa in Los Cabos, Mexico, with a third Javier's location opening there next month. So here we have an example of a Mexican restaurant that began in Orange County opening a location in Mexico itself. What are we to make of that?
Also found out while at the Irvine location that the pending Crystal Cove location now has a projected opening for November this year. Still don't know if it's a replacement of their original Laguna Beach spot or just the fourth Javier's.
