Erazo's Mexican Grill 676 S State College Blvd Anaheim, CA 92806 (714) 991-3688 Listing on Google Maps No known official website. |
Here's my friend James checking in with his first review in a while, this time about Erazo's in Anaheim. The only information about this place on the web up to this point was an oblique reference at Google Maps.
My wife and I and one of her friends went to lunch at Erazo's in late June of 2007. We were glad to find that it was not crowded and was air conditioned. They had various varieties of drinks in cans in addition to the usual ones, so I was able to get a can of caffeine-free Pepsi. They have a salsa bar with various salsas like salsa verde, pico de gallo, a smooth hot red salsa, etc. My wife liked that they put beans on the tortilla chips they serve. The refried beans had plenty of whole, or mostly whole, beans in them. I got chicken enchiladas. They were very good and were made with tortillas that were soaked in sauce rather than having the sauce poured over them. If you're in the area of State College and the eastern portion of South St. in Anaheim, check it out!

UPDATE (March 24, 2008): I have been told by James that Erazo's has changed ownership and is now called either Fiesta Grill or Fiesta Mexican Grill. I hope to find out soon if it is related to the Fiesta Grill chain based in Huntington Beach.

I can tell you that the restaurant isn't related to the Fiesta Grill chain. It's called Fiesta Mexican Grill and the owners are friends of my family.
Thanks for the clarification. Tell them to contact me if we can review their new place.
