Here's James again with his third review:
On Saturday, March 11, I went to Don Carlos restaurant on Santa Ana Canyon Rd. in Anaheim Hills. I got the combination plate #4 (taco and enchilada). I chose chicken as the meat for both, and asked for a soft taco. The rice here is fluffy and moist, which I like. The taco was good, but the bottom fell out of it and I had to use a fork. This place is good to go to for a weekday lunch, because their lunch specials (including rice, beans, chips & drink) are mostly around $5.00 (check the menu at www.doncarlosmexicanfood.com for exact prices). On Tuesdays they have 99 cent tacos. My wife ordered Green Chile Pork when we went to this place on another recent visit, and she said it was too spicy hot for her to eat. I thought she was being wimpy but I tried it and it was very hot (just like the menu says). Overall I'd give Don Carlos three Speedys:

That Combo #4 looks deadly, but good. I miss the OC sooooooo much!!! I'm stuck here in Miami for the time being (btw, never come out to Miami - sucks).
